With more than 15 years of experience as a massage therapist and a love for training, I have found a love for the complimentary benefits of strength training and bodywork. I specialize in trigger point therapy myofascial techniques, sports massage, cupping and rehab work. I love doing meticulous, detailed bodywork and carry the same attention over to my training.
I started my fitness journey in 2006, with an interest in physique competition, where I was first exposed to strength training and nutrition. Like many people I was quickly overloaded with information and I wanted to know what approaches were optimal and efficient in the world of training and nutrition. I believe that learning about the body is a lifelong journey, unique to each person, and to this day I constantly seek to educate myself further in order to help my clients.
My goal is to educate people on how their bodies work in order for them to increase their body awareness and understanding in getting the most out of the body they have been given. I also like to teach people how to think about training and nutrition so they can succeed, and find balance through all of life’s changes and challenges. I specialize in strength/conditioning, corrective exercise, bodywork and nutrition. I enjoy working with anyone looking to improve both their fitness and lifestyle. Clients that I have worked with in the past include people of all ages (8yo-85 yo), Crossfitters, Spartan Race Athletes, models, endurance athletes, extreme sports athletes, ex military and anyone who is plagued with chronic pain or coming out of injuries or surgeries. I love watching people grow and get stronger and my goal is to help people feel and move the best they can to experience their life to the fullest.
When I am not at the gym, I enjoy horseback riding, hanging with my weiner dogs, dirt bike riding, snowboarding competing in Spartan Races, cooking, and drinking copious amounts of coffee.

“Xcel fitness is honestly the best gym I have ever been to. I have tried other gyms in the past but I always came back to Xcel! The trainers and coaches always push me hard and are concerned about my growth and progress. All of the classes are great and every class I’ve been to has been amazing! I really recommend becoming a member here!”
“The gym is always very clean and well maintained. They have also implemented great cleaning tools and tactics with COVID, ensuring that all of the equipment gets wiped down before and after each use. It has all of the equipment that you’d ever need. By far the best gym in Utah!”
