I have been a personal trainer for more than twenty years.  I have seen a lot of changes in the fitness industry.

Because of this, I have based my training philosophy on sound, scientific principles.

I start by assessing each of my clients individually, and I build a program based on their needs and goals. Whatever they might be. 

I am certified in Personal Training, Yoga,  Group Fitness,  Olympic Weight Lifting,  & Power Lifting

I also have a very well rounded background in fitness myself,  from running Marathons, riding 24 hr mountain bike races
to completing in Crossfit and Olympic Weight Lifting events. 

Here at Xcel, I am a personal trainer. 
However,  I also coach a group class called Total Body Conditioning & a group Kettle Bell class which I do all of the program design for. 

Although these are “group classes ”  I always take into account each member’s goals.

I am constantly checking in with them to make sure that they are getting the results that they want.   Whether it’s increasing strength, cardiovascular performance, overall fitness,  stress reduction, mobility, weight loss.. you name it.

When I am not working you can usually find me hanging out with my family.  We enjoy pretty much any outdoor activity that Utah has to offer year-round.  I also enjoy,  cooking, playing pool, singing (even though I’m not great), and spending time with my dog Axel.
