Mike Young

 

I’m an avid outdoorsman and former collegiate athlete originally from Princeton, MN. I started training clients in 1999 as a certified trainer while pursuing my B.S. in Exercise Science at the University of Utah. I’ve spent the past 22 years working as a trainer, training director, territory sales manager, lead consultant and educator to thousands of clubs, trainers, and clients. After many years traveling and living on the west coast, I’ve recently returned to Xcel Fitness, which in my opinion is the best all around training facility and working environment in the Western US. I have a seasoned passion for fitness, performance enhancement, pain reduction, pre/post surgical rehab, weight loss, addiction recovery and helping others achieve their specific life goals through my coaching progression and motivational techniques.
