We have a wide range of classes for every level of fitness enthusiast and scheduling options that will ensure you will be able to attend. The layout of Xcel allows for many different yoga, pilates, barre and Les Mills classes to be held simultaneously. We pride ourselves in having the premier Crossfit, Reformer Pilates, Yoga, and Total Body/HIIT programs in the Salt Lake area. Each program has its designated location within Xcel and programming from our top-tier instructors to ensure a safe, fun, and effective experience.
Xcel has long been known as the go-to place for the best personal trainers. We have over 20 fitness professionals at Xcel to help guide you through your fitness journey. Many of our professionals have been at Xcel since its inception in 1999. Our educated and knowledgeable staff are always willing to sit down and help you develop and implement an effective fitness/lifestyle program
Many of our professionals specialize in certain populations and modalities. We have Physical Therapists, Massage Therapists, and Nutritionists on staff to help work around certain obstacles. We also specialize in Youth/Adult Sport Specific Strength and Conditioning, Older Adult Training, Pre and Post Partum Training, and Post-Surgical Rehabilitation.

Group REFORMER PILATES is an upbeat and vigorous workout combining a variety of strengthening and lengthening exercises. The Reformer is a piece of equipment on which the client exercises with a moving carriage, attached to large springs for resistance. You will build core strength, increase flexibility, coordination, improve posture and create long, lean muscles. Recommended by doctors, chiropractors, physical therapists, and athletic trainers.
This is a heated Power Vinyasa class set to great music. Learn to connect breath to movement and thought to action through a specific sequence of breath-synchronized movements. As well as find stillness and balance with extended static holds. The design of this dynamic and vigorous class will stimulate your mind and body and improve strength, flexibility, power and focus. This is an energizing, fun and inspirational class where you will tap into your deepest potential and push the limits of what is possible.
Enjoy a ballet barre style workout with one of our licensed instructors. This class is set to music and combines dance, ballet barre, some light weights, and a lot of lower body strength and conditioning movements.
hiit / total body
Come get a boot camp style workout in our Total body conditioning class. A combination of weightlifting, body weight and athletic strength and conditioning movements will have you crushing your goals and breaking through your plateaus

Strength matters because it makes all other physical abilities better. It’s the basis for all human and athletic movement. Strength improves emotional, mental and relational health, as well. A person who has walked through the journey of extremely weak to strong has been refined by the power of voluntary hardship.
Cardio raises your heart rate, improving heart and lung health. Aerobic workouts, train your body to use oxygen more efficiently, a practice that gradually reduces your resting heart rate and your breathing rate — two important indicators of cardiovascular health.
